Aspen Lakes
With some of the finest bent grass playing surfaces carpeting tee to green, Aspen Lakes can stretch out to 7302 yards, challenging even the longest hitters. Lakes and streams come into play on over half of the holes as you work your way through the ponderosa pines.
Aspen Lakes features red sand bunkers that create a visually striking contrast against the green of the course, the brilliant blue of the sky and the snow-capped peaks that stand guard. Wildlife is abundant as Aspen Lakes was the first course in Oregon to enroll in the
Audubon Signature Sanctuary Program.

Brasada Canyons represents the first design in Central Oregon for Jacobsen, the popular Oregon native and golf guru. The private, par-72 layout features 11 holes located in dramatic canyons as well as five tee settings, with course distances ranging from 7,242 to 5,470 yards.

Crooked River Ranch
Crooked River Ranch is home to one of Central Oregon’s most popular golf courses. The golf course is situated on a plateau overlooking the Crooked River gorge and river. The contrast between lush fairways and greens and the desert surroundings is strikingly beautiful. When players tee up on the third hole, each is rewarded with a view straight down the gorge at the river some 400 feet below. It’s the kind of view not soon forgotten. The fifth hole is even more amazing; that’s why it has frequently been labeled “the most spectacular golf hole in Oregon”.

Eagle Crest Resort - Ridge Course
The Eagle Crest Ridge course is a modern, wide-open course that presents plenty of challenges. Good players often score well on the risk and reward par 5’s, only to give strokes back on the par 3 holes. Number 12, in particular, is a tough, downhill par 3 where club selection and good old-fashioned guts make all the difference. Also, there’s a lot of subtle break in these greens, so prepare for more than one three-putt.

Eagle Crest Resort - Resort Course
Scenic vistas on every horizon make this Central Oregon course a favorite with local and visiting golfers.
The original layout at Eagle Crest, the Resort course, plays tougher than the Ridge course due to deceivingly tight fairways. Those dreaded OB stakes line many holes and there are canyons that eat golf balls left and right. In fact, the Resort course’s signature hole, the second hole, sits over 80 feet above the canyon floor.
Be ready for a series of great finishing holes that can make or break your round.

Eagle Crest Resort - Challenge Course
The Challenge course and the Putting course at Eagle Crest were designed for both learning and enjoyment.
The par 63 Challenge course is Central Oregon’s golf secret. With nine par 3’s and nine par 4’s, this course is a favorite among golfers because it is both fun and challenging. The course is strategically sculpted and offers four different tee boxes, making it a great course for avid golfers and beginners alike. The Challenge usually only takes about three hours to play, leaving you plenty of time to explore Eagle Crest and Central Oregon.

Juniper Golf Course
Juniper Golf Course opened on its new site in July of 2005. The golf course was carved out of the natural Central Oregon terrain by course architect, John Harbottle III, to give golfers a true high desert experience. The course wanders through the lava rocks, sagebrush and juniper trees that gives the course it’s name.
The course can be stretched out to over 7200 yards and boasts a 73.8 rating with a 133 slope. Bend Golf and Country Club
Bend Golf and Country Club began in 1925 as a Chandler Egan-designed, nine-hole golf course in a small lumber town in Central Oregon. For over 80 years, the Club has been the only full-service, member-owned 18-hole golf course in one of the world’s great golf regions.
The Club’s golf course features more than 7000 yards of spectacular fairways lined with majestic Ponderosa pines. This easy-to-walk course with short green-to-tee distances, and the absence of developments or divisive streets, has an opening nine featuring tighter driving holes that don’t necessarily reward the biggest hitters. The Club’s signature hole #3 is a par three over-water. The back nine provides a chance to gamble with your driver more often. Five distinctly different practice areas aid you in conquering this challenging golf course.

Broken Top
When Broken Top opened in 1993 it was the first gated community in Central Oregon to offer a name-brand golf experience. In this case, the brand was the design team of Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish. (Weiskopf was the 1973 British Open Champion and four-time runner-up at The Masters.)
With Weiskopf’s help, Broken Top earned immediate accolades as one of the best new private courses in the country. The course set a new standard for the area and was an instrumental part of Central Oregon’s growth as a golf destination. The 11th hole, a short par-four which plays over an old rock quarry, became the signature hole for the entire region.

Sunriver Resort - Woodlands Course
A perennial Northwest favorite that brings people back year after year.
At the Woodlands course you get exactly what you’d expect…lots and lots of trees. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. in 1979, the rule here is “just keep it in play.” You don’t need booming drives to score well, but you do have to accurately place your tee shots.
The front nine starts easily enough with a forgiving par five. The eighth hole is a great par-3, with water almost completely surrounding the green. No matter which hole you’re playing, the Woodlands Course provides a fun, fair test of all your shot-making skills. Woodlands is also home to the Woodlands Golf Shop, which offers exclusively Nike Golf.

Widgi Creek
Named the “Best Golf Course in Central Oregon” by readers of The Source five of the last six years, Widgi Creek Golf Club stands as tall as the giant Ponderosa Pines it’s tucked amongst. Since 1991, Widgi Creek has been a favorite destination for golfers of all abilities who want to experience the game in a challenging, serene and beautiful setting. Meticulous fairways lead to large, rolling greens on this spectacular Robert Muir Graves design. Widgi Creek is among several local courses featured at the annual Pacific Amateur Golf Classic.
Widgi Creek is located just off Century Drive, the road to Mt. Bachelor. Shadowed by the pines, this course features 11 lakes and 60 bunkers. The par 3, 11th hole is one of the most challenging golf holes in the region. A three-tiered green guarded by a lake and deep bunker do well to protect this 216-yard hole from par. Widgi Creek also features one of the longest holes in the area. The par 5 3rd hole measures more than 650 yards from the back tees, making it an adventure even for the longest hitters.
